Shravana is a Sanskrit word that means hearing, but not in just a simple sense. Hearing in this case is ‘understanding’. Capturing hectic beauty, sensory overload, and peace in a place that is so far different than anywhere I’ve ever been was enlightening. While traveling around India with my wife, there were times that incredibly saddened us by what we saw, and others inspired us more than ever. I nearly threw away this project when I felt as if I didn’t have the ability to create what I had envisioned. My brother is an artist and musician, and he learned how to edit his first video by working on this with me. I simply wouldn’t have been able to finish it without him. This film is inspired by Leonardo Dalessandri, Matty Brown, and Brandon Li. Their work has forever changed the way that I see the world.
